There is a place not known by many Sandboxers, a place which is dark, cold and wet. A village on the edge of all known maps this place is known as the “Gateway”. The village is called this because it is a map between the human world and the Sandboxers world. The Gateway was created many, many years ago by the Map Maker to keep all the little Sandboxers in their own world as it was thought to be very dangerous to cross from one world to another. The Map Maker is said to still live in the village of Gateway keeping an eye out for any silly Sandboxers trying to cross over to the human world. Many Sandboxers are not so silly, just the idea of crossing into the human world sends many Sandboxers into a panic. The Map Maker made many beautiful maps for the Sandboxers to live, work and play and just about every little Sandboxer is happy and content with their lives.
However one little Sandboxer known as Bic from the village of Sandbox has a very adventurous soul, many of the villagers in this village think he is the most bravest of all the Sandboxers and some think he is just a good storyteller.........
